Trinity School is hosting a special night of swing music from Joe Pettit and the Len Phillips Swing Orchestra, the 17-piece tour de force that is Britain’s most popular big band. Featuring special guest singers Jeff Hooper (BBC Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra) and Nicola Emmanuelle (the West End’s Rat Pack), this promises to be an evening of toe-tapping to the most swinging music ever written.

The programme will consist of music from the libraries of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller plus songs from Ella Fitzgerald, Harry Connick Jr and Frank Sinatra.

In 2022 the LP Swing Orchestra enjoyed success with a number 1 in the iTunes Jazz Chart and a top-40 hit in the UK Singles Chart. Their shows “100 Years of Big Bands” and “A Swingin’ Christmas” (starring Mica Paris) wowed TV audiences on Sky Arts. In 2021 the orchestra performed the first ever live-streamed Big Band concert from the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
