The Croydon Operatic and Dramatic Association (“CODA”) are proud to present their seventh outdoor production in Croydon’s Wandle Park this summer – Alice, Through Wonderland, an exciting and innovative new production of Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale of discovery, curiosity and madness, from 27^th to 30^th July, as part of the programme for Croydon’s year as London Borough of Culture.

Alice finds herself in a mysterious and enchanting Wonderland; a world of madness, curiosity, challenge – and not forgetting the tea! She meets an array of eccentric characters, attending a mad tea party and a trial for the theft of jam tarts. But can she make it to the end of the chess board – whilst keeping her head? And are the wonders she finds real or just a dream?

Suitable for all ages, with exciting steampunk-style costumes, this production is staged in the round at Wandle Park’s bandstand, and is the ideal treat for a summer’s evening – with seating provided and refreshments available. Fancy dress is encouraged. CODA is also able to offer a “pay what you can” performance on Wednesday 26th July, and BSL interpretation at the matinee performance on Saturday 29th July.

Alice, Through Wonderland runs from Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th July at the bandstand at Wandle Park, Croydon, with evening performances at 7:30pm, and a matinee on Saturday 29th July at 2:30pm.
